Tapioca

Tapioca is a Belgian & Brazilian duo founded by Alessandro “Le Tagarel” Vlerick, a singer, rapper and lyricist, and Simon “SiKa” Carlier, a producer and composer. After gaining some support from the media world like BBC6 Music, KCRW, KEXP, Worldwide FM, La première, Radio 1 and the public off the back of their first E.P. “Voyage” released on Jakarta records in 2022, Tapioca is making a come back on Jakarta records with a 10-track L.P. entitled “Samba em Kigali”.

The Brussels and Kigali based group inspired by hip-hop, soul and MPB now offers a completed new album of 10 tracks that reveals their own signature sound and musical identity. Enjoy their first single “Lagoas de Ruanda”.
