Sea Level

Sea Level (1977), the debut album by the band Sea Level, represents a distinctive fusion of Southern rock, jazz, funk, and R&B. Formed by keyboardist Chuck Leavell following his tenure with the Allman Brothers Band, Sea Level sought to explore a more eclectic musical direction. The lineup featured Leavell alongside bassist Lamar Williams, drummer Jaimoe, guitarist Jimmy Nalls, and saxophonist Randall Bramblett, creating a sound that was both familiar and innovative.
